한국의 대표 업사이클 작가와 작품을 만나 볼 수 있는 전시회.
이번 전시는 한국의 광명시 및 광명업사이클아트센터가 ‘업사이클’을 주제로 전시를 주최했다.
한국에서 활동중인 업사이클 작가 17명의 작품과 제품 및 공모전 수상작을 포함한 80여점의 업사이클 디자인을 볼 수 있다. 특히 버려진 전자제품을 이용한 작품과 한복을 소재로 한 의상 및 소품 등 한국 특유의 감성을 담은 작품들이 많다. 이 밖에도 한국 작가들의 작업 과정에 대해 들을 수 있는 세미나와 직접 작품을 만들어 보는 워크숍도 준비되어있다.
The exhibition is hosted by city of Gwangmyeong and Gwangmyeong Upcycle Art Center in South Korea.
And its theme is 'Korean Upcycle Art and Design'. 17 Korean upcycle artists and 12 winners of Internatipnal art & design competition participate in this exhibiton with 80 artworks.
They show the various and unique Korean upcycle art and design like reused electronic parts and fabric based on Hanbok, trandition korean costume. In addition, they prepare 4 upcycle seminars, you can see how to create Korean upcycle art&design artwork. Also, audience can participate in workshops white Korean upcycle artists.
