한국경제신문은 지난 50여 년간 1930년대 파리의 풍경과 생활상을 담은 프랑스 현존 파리지앵 화가, 미셸 들라크루아의 탄생 90주년특별전 《미셸 들라크루아, 파리의 벨 에포크》를 2023년 12월 16일(토)부터 2024년 3월 31일(일)까지 106일간 예술의전당 한가람디자인미술관에서 개최한다.
미셸 들라크루아는 제2차 세계대전이 발발하기 전 파리의 모습을 자신의 유년기를 덧입혀 ‘파리의 아름다운 시절’을 기록하는 아크릴 페인팅 작업을 해왔다. 미셸 들라크루아는 지난 20여 년 전부터 한국 아트페어에서 꾸준히 소개되었고, 따뜻하면서도 향수를 자극하는 그만의 화풍은 한국 관람객에게도 많은 사랑을 받고 있다.
모든 사람은 자신의 추억 속에 따뜻하고도 행복했던 시절에 대한 향수가 있다. 미셸은 자신의 인생을 담은 키워드로 “사랑하고, 사랑받는 것”이라고 전한다. 이번 전시는 7가지의 테마로 나누어 진행되며, 전쟁 이전 파리의 아름다운 시절 1930년대로 관람객을 초대한다.
The Korea Economic Daily will hold a special exhibition titled 《Michel DELACROIX, La belle époque de Paris》 for the 90th anniversary of the birth of Michel DELACROIX, a living French painter who has spent the last five decades apturing Parisian cityscapes and life in the 1930s, at the Hangaram Design Museum of the Seoul Arts Center for 106 days from December 16, 2023 (Sat) to March 31, 2024 (Sun).
Michel DELACROIX has been and has been creating acrylic paintings to record ‘The beautiful time in Paris’ by incorporating his boyhood memories into the cityscape that he remembers from before the outbreak of World War II. Michel DELACROIX has been featured at the Korea International Art Fair (KIAF) over the past two decades, and his uniquely warm and nostalgic style has become a favorite among Korean museumgoers. Everyone maintains a certain nostalgia for the warm and happy times in their lives. “To love and to be loved,” he says, are the keywords that sum up his life. Divided into seven themes, the exhibition takes you on a trip back to the 1930s, a beautiful time in pre-war Paris.
