《ACA in PODO(아카인포도)》는 ‘지금’과 ‘여기’에 깊은 통찰력을 갖춘 아시아 예술가들을 지원하고 소개하는 포도뮤지엄의 프로젝트로 아시아 지역의 다양하고 독창적인 예술적 시도들을 선보이고 지역적 경계를 넘어 대화와 연결을 이루는 장을 추구하고자 한다. 프로젝트의 일환으로 마련된 전시는 동시대 예술이 가진 가능성을 탐구하고, 예술적 실험과 창의적 도전들이 결합된 작품을 선보인다. 자연과 사회, 개인의 이야기를 자신만의 시선으로 풀어내는 작품을 통해 자신의 삶을 새롭게 바라볼 수 있는 계기를 마련하고자 한다.
이번 전시에 소개하는 정보영과 히라키 사와, 히로시 스기모토는 시간과 기억, 공간이라는 주제를 서로 다른 방식으로 포착한다. 캔버스와 영상을 통해 재현된 시간과 한 장의 사진에 담긴 보이지 않는 시간은 침묵의 공간으로 우리를 초대한다. 화면에 스며든 한 줄기 빛이 고요 속에서 통찰의 시간을 열어 주듯, 지나치기 쉬운 일상의 순간을 다시금 돌아보고 삶의 깊이를 느낄 수 있는 특별한 틈을 마련할 수 있기를 바란다.
ACA in PODO is an initiative that supports and highlights Asian artists with profound insight into the “here” and “now.” It aims to showcase diverse and original artistic pursuits across Asia and establish new platforms for conversation and connection transcending regional borders. The exhibitions held as part of this project explore the potential of contemporary art and introduce artworks combining artistic experiments and creative endeavors. Artists share stories about nature, society, and the self from their unique perspectives, providing an opportunity to reflect on life from new angles.
This exhibition features Bo-Young JEONG, Hiraki SAWA, and Hiroshi SUGIMOTO, who capture time, memory, and space in diverse ways. Here, time is replicated through canvas and video or caught in an invisible state in a single photograph, inviting us into a realm of silence. Just as a ray of light falling across a screen marks a moment of silent observation, this exhibition aims to provide a special aperture through which we can explore the depth of life as we reflect on everyday moments that are often overlooked.
