전시기획사 씨씨오씨는 예술의전당에서 ‘에릭 요한슨 사진전: Impossible is Possible’을 개최한다. 이번 전시는 한국과 스웨덴의 수교 60주년을 기념하는 특별전으로 진행된다. “상상을 찍는 사진작가” 에릭 요한슨은 스웨덴을 대표하는 사진작가로서 초현실주의 사진작가 중에서는 가장 정점에 있는 작가라 할 수 있다. 국내에는 아직까지는 알려지지 않은 작가지만 그의 작품은 처음 접하는 사람이라도 작품을 한번 보면 빠져나올 수 없는 매력을 가지고 있다.
이번 ‘에릭 요한슨 사진전:Impossible is Possible’은 그의 대표작 약 50점의 대형 작품과 사진 촬영을 위한 스케치, 미디어 그리고 설치작품을 4개의 상상력에 관련된 섹션으로 나누어 관람객에게 선보인다. 이번 전시에서는 이미 솔드아웃되어버린 대표 작품도 함께 전시될 예정이며, 특히 미공개 신작을 한국의 관람객을 위해서 전시 오픈 당일에 공개할 예정이다. 작가는 이런 다양한 이벤트와 세미나 등을 한국을 직접 방문하여 진행할 예정이다.
CCOC, the Art Exhibition Agency, is presenting Erik JOHANSSON: Impossible is Possible of Surreal photographer Erik JOHANSSON. This exhibition will be held as a special exhibition to celebrate the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between South Korea and Sweden. Sweden’s diverse nature environment and culture influence to many artists such as Erik JOHANSSON. Erik, ‘Imagine Photographer’, is a representative photographer of Sweden and one of the most popular surrealism photographer in the world. He is still not well known artist in Korea but anyone falls in love when sees his work.
In this exhibition will show 50 best works in large size, sketches, behind scene videos and installation works by 4 rooms of imagination besides It also offers an opportunity to see works that have already been sold. Erik Johansosn will visit to Korea for his first Asia exhibition and various events. For celebrate this exhibition Erik will open new works at the same time of opening of exhibition.
